From her earliest years on, Karin Spijker has always drawn and painted, preferably using traditional methods, including the use of oil paint and the techniques of the Old Masters. For this she produces her own tempera. Especially Rembrandt, Titian, Caravaggio and Leonardo da Vinci inspire her.
